Starting in 2026, Microsoft will integrate advanced Intune capabilities directly into Microsoft 365 E3 and E5 subscriptions. This brings selected Intune Suite features into core M365 licenses, making endpoint management simpler and reducing the need for separate add-on licenses.
Microsoft 365 E3 will include:
Intune Remote Help
Intune Advanced Analytics
Microsoft Tunnel for Mobile Application Management
Specialty device management and firmware updates
Enhanced Intune Plan 2 capabilities
Microsoft 365 E5 will include all E3 features, plus:
Intune Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM)
Intune Enterprise Application Management
Microsoft Cloud PKI
Admin Notes:
This change does not replace the standalone Intune Suite license. Instead, selected capabilities are built directly into M365 E3 and E5, streamlining licensing and deployment.
This update marks a major step toward scalable, secure, and simplified endpoint management for enterprise environments.
